The location couldn't be better, literally across the road from the train station. A corner room provided stunning views of the Matterhorn. I loved having a table and chairs, even a small lounger in the room for enjoying meals. The breakfast selection was great, especially the delicious yogurt. All staff were welcoming and full of helpful suggestions about the area. However, the shower floor was quite slippery, and the grab bar was loose, which raised some safety concerns. The furniture did show signs of age, and the balcony could have used a bit more cleanliness. Still, the restaurant served fantastic dinners, highlighting local cuisine. It genuinely felt like a nice home base after a day of exploring.

The accommodations were surprisingly spacious, and the recommendations from the staff about nearby activities were spot on. Plus, I enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant that really highlighted Swiss cuisine.
